mandya-mysore stretch is full of greenery.. fields on both sides of the road

one of the branches of cauvery .... just before mysore

On the way to Lalitha Mahal ... This route cuts off mysore traffic...

here we go... Welcome Group of hotels present ... Lalitha Mahal... i dont know what star it is ... lets try it

Dining hall was good.... u can see live music ...flute and tabla being played.... lots of firangs... buffet layed out... just that KF that was served was stale... not as fresh as u get in blore.... may be not enough movement here....food was not so good for RS 400 ... but ambience was good.... no AC though ... cooler will be switched on , on request...



The buffet costs 400 odd, which doesnt sound huge but the the food is not worth it for the price...u can visit this place just for the feel

thats the sort of weather we had to face in ooty .... culdnt go out much...

Fortune Hotel , Sullivan Court... the suite costed us 8k per night :-( .... the food was very good. ...rooms very very comfortable...

Had my try at macro at rose garden 

we were looking for a place like this to stay but it turned out to be .....

hotel godown which is locked up for ever. But the lawn was very nice...we should have taken a football with us :-(

the cybershot couldnt capture this properly... may be a professional camera was needed. The whole place was yellow in color ... sunlight...and eucalyptus

That was the weather when we were driving back... this one at gudalur .... visibilty down to few yards !!!
